Tree Health Lady has supported the following organizations and obtained the following qualifications since shortly after our inception in 2010.
American Society of Consulting Arborists |
|
ASCA represents Consulting Arborists: experts who provide trusted, ethical guidance for trees, their environments, and tree-related issues. Our members are the go-to resource for expert, objective advice for a wide range of consulting services, including tree resolution, strategic planning and guidance, expert testimony, and appraisals.

ASCA consulting arborists are uniquely qualified to handle the most challenging situations in several key areas of demonstrated ability. To be accepted into our ranks, members must have advanced skills, extensive credentials, and years of education and experience in arboriculture. Members come to ASCA with elevated knowledge and skills in a wide range of both scientific and professional disciplines. Additionally, ASCA members adhere to the highest Standards of Professional Practice to ensure they not only have the skills you need, but ASCA members use those skills to serve both private interests and the public trust. Our standards focus on client relationships, competence, impartiality, independence, confidentiality, and objectivity, and they bring the highest levels of integrity to each assignment they undertake. ASCA members may choose to advance to Registered Member status by undergoing training at the ASCA Academy. The ASCA Academy involves writing, submitting, and passing three double-blind review booklet reports (based on real-world scenarios) to earn the elevated designation as a Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA). RCAs have achieved the highest level of arboricultural credentialing available and can handle the most challenging and highest-profile assignments. We continue to be the only one in the area with this expertise (RCA 860). |
ASCA Tree and Plant Appraisal Qualification |
|
The TPAQ curriculum is a training course that will train green industry professionals in the theory and application of current tree and plant appraisal approaches, methods, and techniques to develop and implement an appraisal assignment. The TPAQ Certificate program has been developed in alignment with ASTM E2659 Certificate Program Standards. We continue to be the only one in the area with this expertise.
International Society of Arboriculture |
|

Most all professional arborists are members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and Angela Anderson, Board Certified Master Arborist, is a member of the organization. ISA has regional chapters around the world including the International Society of Arboriculture, Texas Chapter and the International Society of Arboriculture, Southern Chapter, we are currently members of both. |
ISA Board Certified Master Arborist |
|
|
The ISA Board Certified Master Arborist® credential is the highest level of certification offered by ISA. This credential recognizes ISA Certified Arborists® who have reached the pinnacle of their profession. In addition to passing an extensive scenario-based exam, candidates must abide by a Code of Ethics, which ensures quality of work. Fewer than two percent of all ISA Certified Arborists® currently hold this certification. We have maintained this qualification for several years and we continue to be the only one in the area with this expertise (BCMA TX-3993B). |
ISA Oak Wilt Qualification |
|
![]() |
A number of years ago, the International Society of Arboriculture, Texas Chapter established a certification for those properly trained in managing Oak Wilt, a very deadly pathogen found in many parts of Texas. We have maintained this qualification for several years and we continue to be the only one in the area with this expertise (TOWQ 445). |
ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification |
|
![]() |
The ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (ISA TRAQ) is a voluntary qualification program designed to train and assess candidates in a specialized field of arboriculture. When a professional earns the ISA TRAQ credential, they should be recognized by their peers and the public as a tree care professional who has specialized knowledge in tree risk assessment. We have maintained this qualification for several years. |
ISA Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification |
|
![]() |
While the Wildland Urban Interface, where the natural environment and communities meet, is a haven for those who want to live among nature, it is also a wildfire environment. Research tells us that the majority of homes ignite during a wildfire as a result of embers or small flames. The Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification (WRRQ) signifies that the individual arborist was an ISA Certified Arborist when they took the course and has received special training on the reduction of wildfire risk to homes, property, and natural areas. We have maintained this qualification for several years and we continue to be the only one in the area with this expertise (TXWRRQ-0014). |
